Who We Are

The objectives of the Federation are exclusively educational, scientific, and charitable in nature and are to make available the highest standards of anaesthesia, pain medicine, trauma management, resuscitation, and preoperative/critical care medicine to all peoples of the world and to disseminate the same amongst them.

Collaboration with the EESC program of WHO

The WFSA has strengthened its ties to the WHO, through its Emergency and Essential Surgical Care (EESC) program which is dedicated to providing life-saving surgical care to meet the need in areas of the world where the burden is high, access is low, and the disparity is great.
