— filed under:

The WFSA has been informed that Kybele, an not for profit organisation trying to improve safety in childbirth around the world, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 'Saving lives at birth: a grand challenge for development' competition.

Kybele was founded in 2004 by Dr Medge Owen a member of the WFSA Obstetric Committee from 2008-2012 and has 'partnered with WFSA in many projects around the world.
This shortlisting for a prestigious award represents an opportunity for Kybele to obtain significant funding to extend their projects and WFSA wishes them well in this competition.
